As a “sound” Catholic with a “balanced perspective,” I feel obliged to support both modernism and unhealthy traditionalism—because, after all, God loves everyone, and surely there’s no fine print on how Catholics should actually live.
Yes, the Church gave us the Catechism. Yes, there is Canon Law. But who, in their right mind, still follows those “man-made” rules? What really matters is how each person personally practices the faith. Doctrine is secondary; feelings are primary.
I believe everyone should free to interpret Catholicism and choose a preferred liturgy. Reverent worship or Clown Masses—it’s all the same Sacrament, just expressed in whatever style suits the celebrant and the congregation.
As Catholics, we shouldn’t judge one another. We should simply affirm, listen, and accompany—never correct. As the famous line goes, “We all live under the same sun, so why can’t we live as one?”
In this spirit of encouragement—surely what St. Paul had in mind—I’ve taken the time to raise awareness about Fr. James Martin: truly a living saint. Feared by some, admired by many, and, we are told, deeply respected in Rome for his “bridge-building.” His vision is refreshingly simple: everyone should be free to do whatever they want. For him, the Magisterium, it seems, has not yet fully caught up to this deeper truth.
He’s not only saintly—he’s a genius revolutionary.
